{Final}

Today was a big day for us. D and I took Bizi to the Court house and met with the judge to finalize his adoption. It was technically final in Rwanda, but in order to get an Oklahoma birth certificate we had to go see the judge.

Anyhow, the little man is officially Ethan Bizimana Osborn.

It's been a roller coaster to get him here, but I'd do it again with out hesitation. We are a blessed family to have him. He has already taught us so much about love, commitment, and surrendering. We said yes to God and in turn God gave us this precious life to watch over. Thank you, Lord!

{Love}

Love is something I had for this sweet child before I saw his face, knew his name or held him in my arms.
Love will make you leave your comfortable life and travel around the world.
Love will allow you to smile at 3 A.M when you are up, again, trying to sooth a sick child.
Love is what my Savior offered me at the cross.
Love will get me through the days when I just want to run away.
Faith, Hope, and Love, and the greatest of these is Love.

{What the cool kids are doing}

Here's my super cool boys in their new get-ups! Davis was too young to start Karate without an adult, so super dad jumped right in.

Yesterday I heard them practicing in D's room, all in Japanese. I'm so proud of the daddy that Dave has become. He's just awesome!

{It's been a while}

Time seems to fly by these days and blogging gets put on the back burner. I do have a fun update for you.

Watch the story unfold below:

Davis has a loose tooth. His adult tooth is coming through in the back so we thought we might need to do something about it. The dentist charges $300 to pull a tooth. Being the rednecks that we are, we find another, more fun, option...

A BRICK! And not just one brick but two for good measure!

It was all fun and games until the dropping looked like it was REALLY going to happen...

BRAVE BOY!

Sweet boy did great! Now Dave-O is trying to think up new, exciting ways to get out the next one. The toothfairy may have to pay big on this one!
